The IP Network Engineer will be responsible for the stability and the integrity of IP Core network elements including (and not only): Ethernet switches, IP routers and firewalls.

The routine tasks of the engineer are designing, implementation, monitoring and support of IP network and validation of any new features as required.



Main Responsibilities:

Design, maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot the IP Core network

Management and operations’ support of international transit and peering connectivity over Layer-2 and Layer-3 VPN’s

Be a reference point for Systems and R&D teams

Design and implement the technology strategy to make network capacity meet existing and future requirements

Conduct research and recommends different network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts

Participate in technology projects and deliver a high-quality product while meeting deadlines

As the expert in this area for the organisation, offer professional assistance when required to all levels across the organisation for IP/LAN/WAN related queries

Requirements:



Education, qualification and personal experience:

Appropriate high-level or university degree

Solid knowledge in telecommunication technologies

1+ years of experience working in ISP and/or telecommunications environment

CCNA and/or another network certificate is beneficial

Command English

Specific knowledge and abilities:

Familiar with TCP/IP and MPLS with experience in using following protocols: DNS, DHCP, SNMP

Experience in configuration and troubleshooting of routing (protocols: OSPF, BGP) and switching equipment

Experience with firewalls and VPN’s

Basic hardware knowledge

Participates in pre-sales processes, supporting pre-sales engineers in preparation and offering of different B2B & Enterprise solutions and products;

Participates in education activities, training courses on-site, remote and abroad

Develops to deliver best quality to the company



Responsibilities:

Strictly not divulging company data, sensitive information, configurations, designs, network topologies, secrets;

Keeping all of the company rules, ethical code, internal processes and procedures

Delivery on time measurable and qualified results according to assigned tasks

Keeping job-discipline

Abide by electrical-safety and jobs-safety rules
